A New Tourism in Search of Good Living
The Marche region of central Italy on the Adriatic side, develop vertically from north to south. Marche is a predominantly hilly and mountainous region. The shore of the coast has wide sandy beaches, with the exception of the famous Monte Conero, the highest point on the maritime side. A landscape with gentle hills that meet the Umbrian and Tuscan Apennines from the sea, starred by dozens of medieval villages up to the Renaissance Urbino with its Ducal Palace and the Marche Museum.
In the Apennine area of the Marche region there are not very high peaks, the highest mountain group is the picturesque Sibillini chain, straddling the provinces of Ascoli Piceno and Macerata, of which Monte Vettore (2478 m) masters. A few kilometers from our Bioagriturismo Chignoni you can ski even on the slopes of Monte Nerone or Catria, while at the table you can rediscover healthy foods, mushrooms and truffles that are never lacking and all those recipes of the past.
You can do trekking, climbing, mountain biking or long horse rides making pleasant meetings with unfriendly animals in the wild, then in the evening find yourself in the pleasant and welcoming environments of our bio-agrimitism. This is our main interest, providing salons of rare beauty that marry hospitality to the tranquility of the area.
