The passing of the seasons, marks the rhythm of time passing through the rite of harvest, sowing and harvesting. A corner of nature, far from the hectic life of the city, where silence is broken only by the “voices” of the countryside and the aromas of rosemary, lavender and fennel that pleasantly smell the air.
The architectural complex of the small conurbation of Chignoni that once housed several sharecropper families, has beautiful sandstone facades and very special internal settings. The spacious and very welcoming apartments have been decorated with particular furnishings and beautiful pieces of furniture that belonged to the family, for a holiday able to revive the emotions of a past made of typical country simplicity.
Outside there is a large garden with adjoining barbecue area and a nice pool to cool off in the warmer months. The company’s products are excellent: cured meats, cheeses, honey, and … jams for all tastes. In our area at the table foods are healthy, mushrooms and truffles are never lacking and the recipes are those of the past; you can savor typical products and taste wines and snacks.
The terracotta floors, the ceilings with wooden beams, the walls in pietra serena, the original original fireplaces … all contribute to create a warm and welcoming environment. The taste of savoring our tradition without neglecting the desired comfort on holiday.
